2016 Battle of Bosworth Shiraz

Certified organic. Impenetrable midnight black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Liquorice and blackberry aromas interplay with some black cherries, vanillin cedar, a touch of meatiness and blackpepper. Rich, full bodied and possessing a dense structure the palate is flooded with black cherry, liquorice and blackpepper flavours which overlay traces of blackberry, smoky vanillin cedar and spice. Firm chewy tannins and bright acidity provide a solid framework. Medium to long blackpepper laced aftertaste of liquorice, black cherries, smoky vanillin cedar and dried meats.
