2016 Atze's Corner The Giant Durif

Magnificent saturation of colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core and an equally deep dark purple black hue. Prominent inky black and Morello cherry aromas intermix with liquorice, vanillin cedar, subtle earth and spice. Dense with inky like concentration the palate is awash with rich black cherry, liquorice and Morello cherry flavours which sit over vanillin cedar and subtle earthy black olive elements. Spicy finish with bright acidity and ripe chewy tannins imparting an inky muscular like feel. Excellent power with a black and Morello cherry, liquorice, vanillin cedar, earthy black olive and spice aftertaste.
