A blend of Merlot, Sangiovese, Barbera & Grenache. Totally opaque inky black purple colour with a deep bright dark purple hue. Nosing reveals freshly crushed berry aromas of dark cherries, hints of liquorice and black raspberries with spicy incense end notes. Inky palate flavours of ripe dark cherries, liquorice and black raspberries are followed by some spice. Dry inky finish with chalky tannins and bright acidity. Aftertaste of inky dark cherries, liquorice, dark raspberries and spice.
