2016 Alkimi Syrah

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of red liquorice and fennel intermix with plum, smoked meats, clove, earth and spicy dried herbs. Elegant and mid weighted, the palate features a savoury flavour profile of liquorice and plum fruit over vanillin cedar, smoked meats and peppered herbs. Supple feel with polished tannins and a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
