2016 Al-Muvedre Tinto Monastrell

Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Elevated black cherry and liquorice aromas mix with scorched earth and incense followed by dried meats and spicy dried herb notes. Medium to full bodied there’s ample richness to the savoury black cherry and liquorice flavours, with earth, infusions of incense and underlying dried herb elements also present. Finishes spicy with sturdy tannins giving the wine a slightly chewy feel. Aftertaste of black cherries, earthy incense characters, some meatiness, dried herbs and spice.
