2016 A.Mano Primitivo

Sourced from 70 plus year old vines, this Primitivo includes 5% Aleatico in the blend to provide some aromatic floral lift. Opaque very dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Plummy liquorice like scents intermix with dried fruits, earth, fragrant herbs and spice. Rich, juicy plum, liquorice and raisined cherry flavours fill the mouth over a back drop of earthy dried herb and spice nuances. There’s good flesh to the fruit with slightly chewy but ripe tannins providing support. Excellent depth with a long spicy plum, liquorice, earthy dried raisin and wild herb aftertaste.
A delicious Primitivo primed for drinking over the next 3-4 years.
