2015 Zilzie Regional Collection Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Scented blackcurrant and mulberry aromas overlay cedary tobacco characters, a hint of black olive and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied with an elegant mouthfeel the palate features blackcurrant and mulberry flavours with vanillin cedar and spicy tobacco characters also chiming in. Fine grained well integrated tannins. Slightly dryish finish with an aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters and spice. A well made Coonawarra Cabernet that offers good value.
