2015 Yelland & Papps Devote Greenock Shiraz

Matured in new and old French and American oak for 21 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromatics of dark plum and liquorice are infused with fennel overlaying smoky cedar and blackpepper notes. Rich liquorice and dark plum flavours fill the succulently textured palate with nuances of fennel, smoky cedar, dried meats and pepper ensuing. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of dark plums infused with fennel, liquorice, smoky cedar and pepper. A savoury mid weight Shiraz with a sense of exoticness to it.
