2015 Yarrh Sangiovese

Deep very dark red colour with tinges of black around the edges and a dark brick red hue. The nose exhibits spicy dark cherry and liquorice aromatics with hints of earthy leather and dried herbs also evident. Medium weighted the palate is quite generous for Sangiovese with flavours of spicy dark cherries, earthy leather and toasty cedar. Dry very spicy finish with slightly chalky tannins and bright acidity. Spicy aftertaste of dark cherries, earthy leather and toasty cedar.
Cellar 2-3 years.
