Matured for 15 months in French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Showing ample intensity are dark plum and liquorice scents followed by smoky vanillin cedar, fennel, light earth and spicy pepper notes. Full bodied and rich yet possessing an air of refinement, velvety textured blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and black cherry fruits flood the mouth with underlying smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and spicy pepper characters. Plush and sumptuous with polished tannins and a very long, powerful aftertaste.
