2015 West Cape Howe Shiraz

The fruit for this delicious spicy Shiraz is sourced from the Great Southern area, predominately Mount Barker, with the wine undergoing 12 months barrel maturation.

Outstanding colour saturation displaying an inky black dark red core with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Inky dark fruit aromas are followed by a hint of liquorice with a meaty overlay and spicy pepper end notes. Medium weighted with the juicy dark fruit flavours tempered by an inky, meaty like mouthfeel. Dark cherries, liquorice and dried meat characters abound with a peppery finish. Slightly dryish fine grained tannins with an aftertaste of peppered dried meats, dark fruits and liquorice.
