2015 Voyager Estate Girt by Sea Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peaches and nectarine meld into some biscuity oak, dried honey, cashew and light spice. Nicely textured with a mid palate creaminess, this flavoursome Chardonnay dishes up white peaches and nectarines that intermesh with subtle dried honey and cashew characters over some spicy citrusy nougat. Finishes dry with good balanced freshness and a medium to long aftertaste of white peaches, dried honey, cashew and spicy nougat.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

The fruit for Voyager Estate's excellent entry point Chardonnay was fermented in both stainless steel and French oak barrels before being matured in old and new barrels for seven months. The result is a fruit driven wine, balanced and delicious wine with ripe stone fruits and cashew. The medium-bodied palate is textured and long. Drink by 2020.
