Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a brick red hue. Nosing offers up spicy dried cherry aromas along with some liquorice, tobacco and earthy dried herb notes. Ripe and generous in its feel the palate has a mix of dark and dried cherry fruits over a back drop of earth, dried herbs and spice. Dry, grippy finish with chalky tannins, bright acidity and a medium length aftertaste that has some chew to it.
