Fermented in both new and seasoned French oak barriques. Brilliant pale straw colour with a gleaming greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Nosing reveals white peach and nectarine aromas followed by light honeycomb, toasty oak and spice. Rich peachy nectarine and honeyed flavours adorn the medium bodied palate which finishes with good vibrancy. Underscoring these are some toasty oak, traces of nougat and spice. There’s a gentle creaminess to the mouthfeel but it finishes fresh and dry. Aftertaste of peaches, honeycomb, toasty oak, a touch of nougat and spice.
