Brilliant very pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine and grapefruit are followed by some melon and delicate spice. Light and fresh the palate shows little indication of any wood treatment featuring flavours of nectarine, melon, faint cashew and spice. Clean dry finish with relatively crisp acidity. Aftertaste of nectarine, melon, faint cashew and spice. This will please fans of the new wave fresher, lighter styled Chardonnays but disappoint those looking for a bit more richness and weight.
