2015 Trentham Estate Merlot

Opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Ripe dark plum and dark chocolate aromas overlay toasty vanillin cedar and spice. Fruity dark plum and ripe dark cherry flavours collide with spicy vanillin oak. Traces of earth are also present. Soft, generous mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark plums, subtle dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
