Matured for 12 months in French and American oak. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Plummy liquorice top notes overlay vanillin cedar and spice notes. Medium bodied the palate has stewy plum and liquorice flavours which meld into some vanillin oak and spice. Soft round mouthfeel and velvety tannins. Aftertaste of plum, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak.
