Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas overlay vanillin cedar, light tobacco and spice. Medium to full bodied rich blackcurrant flavours are to the fore with some liquorice, cedary tobacco infusions and spice also present. The fine grained tannins have a sense of firmness and provide good support. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters and spicy bay leaf.
