A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Shiraz and Petit Verdot. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, dark plums and a hint of liquorice meld into some vanillin cedar, faint earth and spice notes. Medium bodied with a fullish textural feel and good richness, ripe blackcurrant flavours are to the fore followed by some liquorice, earthy cedar and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins showing a touch of chalkiness. Aftertaste of spicy blackcurrant, earth, cedar and dried herbs.
