This Sangiovese displays a deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Nosing exhibits spiced red and dark cherry aromas over some earth and spicy cedar. Light to medium bodied, generous ripe dark cherry and subtle strawberry flavours lead the way underscored by fresh herb infusions, light earth and spicy cedar. Dryish finish with fine grained, faintly chalky tannins and bright acidity. Aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, strawberries, fresh herb infusions and subtlety earthed vanillin cedar.
