2015 Tenuta Ulisse Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Outstanding depth of colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Aromas of liquorice and ripe black cherries intermingle with traces of incense, subtle earthy dried herb notes and spice. Rich black cherry and liquorice flavours fill the front palate with a background of incense infusions, new leather and spice. Chewy mouthfeel with firm grippy tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, earthy leather and spice. A rich chewy Montepulciano.
