2015 Telmo Rodriguez LZ Vinedos de Lanciego

Bright dark purple black colour with a dark purple hue. Nosing reveals fresh ripe dark cherry and liquorice aromas which are interwoven with earth, dried meats and spicy vanillin cedar. Youthful juicy dark cherry and liquorice flavours are to the fore followed by scorched earth, vanillin cedar and spice. Bright acidity with dry, slightly chalky tannins imparting some chewiness on the back palate. Good length with a medium to long chewy aftertaste of juicy dark cherries, liquorice, earth and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
