2015 Summerfield Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Outstanding colour displaying a saturated inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Heady ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas hold court over infusions of dark choc mint, vanillin cedar, faint earthy tobacco notes and spice. Full bodied the palate is awash with rich, plush dark fruits, opulently textured flavours of blackcurrants, liquorice and choc mint melding into toasty vanillin oak. Traces of clove, earth and spice are also evident. Velvety tannins have an underlying robust like structure. Excellent power with a long ripe blackcurrant, choc mint, vanillin oak, scorched earth and spice aftertaste.
