Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals blackcurrant and mulberry aromas that are overlaid by cedary tobacco characters with some vanillin spice and bay leaf also chipping in. Medium to full bodied with a glossy mouthfeel the palate has flavours of blackcurrant and milk chocolate over vanillin cedar and subtle spicy bay leaf. Finely grained well integrated tannins. Finishes with an aftertaste of blackcurrant, milk chocolate, vanillin cedar and spicy bay leaf.
