Midnight black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Nosing reveals lifted aromatics of ripe blackberries and liquorice laced with hints of choc mint. Spicy vanillin oak ensues. Rich blackberry, liquorice and choc mint flavours give the palate a juicy feel with an undercard of vanillin oak, traces of earth and spicy blackpepper. Velvet smooth tannins. Good depth with a long blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate, spicy vanillin oak and blackpepper aftertaste.
