A fairly quiet Scotch brand, in the last few decades there's been renewed interest as French owners, Picard have been experimenting with new age statements and maturations. Most of those weren't high strength, like this. Drawn from 1st & 2nd Fill Oloroso Sherry butts, some claim this to be more characterful than the distillery's official bottlings, and the mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth despite the high ABV.
