2015 Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant water like colour with a light greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Pungent aromas of passionfruit and herbaceous gooseberries are overlaid by some grassy characters with hints of citrus and capsicum as an end note. The palate is filled with herbaceous gooseberries, passionfruit and citrus with some grassy green apple like characters also apparent, finishing with tangy citrus. Crisp and dry with along aftertaste of tangy citrus, passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberries and crunchy green apple. An elegant racy Sauvignon Blanc.
