2015 S.C. Pannell Field St. Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Dark and black cherry scents combine with hints of liquorice which overlay some dried herb infusions, lightly toasted cedar and spice. Elegant with a youthful restraint the palate possesses good richness within an elegant framework featuring blackberry and dark cherry flavours that intermingle with liquorice, lightly toasted cedar and spicy dried herbs. Dryish finish with polished tannins providing some tension on the back palate. Aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, blackberry, liquorice, subtlety toasted cedar and spicy dried herbs.
