Totally opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Top notes of black cherries intermingle with hints of liquorice, scorched earth and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of black cherries to the fore over traces of liquorice with scorched earth and spicy cedar following up the rear. Slightly chewy tannins. Dry, spicy finish with an aftertaste of black cherries, subtle liquorice and scorched earth.
