Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Blackberry, black cherry and liquorice aromas emerge from the glass followed by vanillin cedar and some earthy blackpepper notes. Medium to full bodied the palate is amply endowed with flavours of blackberries, dark chocolate and liquorice over earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Sturdy, yet fine grained tannin structure. Aftertaste of blackberries, spicy dark chocolate, liquorice and earthy vanillin oak.
