Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of dark cherries and strawberries laced with a light meatiness and some anise are followed by spicy cedar. Light and flavoursome with dark cherries and plum to the fore the palate also has some underlying stemmy cedar, a light meatiness and spice. Fine grained, very well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, a light meatiness and stemmy cedar.
