2015 Red Edge 71 Block Shiraz

Matured for 2 years in French Troncais oak. Pitch black in colour with a very deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of aniseed and blackberry overlay toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice notes. Full bodied palate with initial rich aniseed flavours overtaken by prominent charry vanillin oak on the finish. Some scorched earth and spice is also present. Dryish, firmly built tannins. Charry vanillin oak and earth characters linger on the medium length aftertaste.
