2015 Paringa Estate Chardonnay

Fermented in a combination of new, one and two year old French oak barriques and matured for 11 months.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of white fleshy peach and ripe pear meld into some dried honey characters followed by nectarine and citrus. Fresh and generously textured the palate has flavours of fleshy white peaches and nectarines intermixed with traces of dried honey, subtle gun flint like infusions and citrus. Lively, fresh acidity on the finish with an aftertaste of white peaches, nectarines, subtle gun flint and citrus.
Cellar 4-5 years.
