2015 Paracombe The Reuben

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Shiraz matured in French oak. Black as night heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Spicy red to black currant and mulberry aromas are intermeshed with black olive, stalky dried herb like notes and toasty cedar. Medium bodied the palate has a generous feel with expressive blackcurrant, mulberry and rhubarb fruits overlaying black olive, lightly toasted cedar and spicy dried herb characters. Slightly dryish, solidly built tannin structure with an earthy medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
