2015 Paracombe Shiraz

Matured for 20 months in French oak. Black as night in colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Pronounced aniseed top notes are followed by black cherry, blackpepper, smoked meats, earth and spicy vanillin cedar. Strapping aniseed, black cherry and blackberry fruits decorate the full bodied palate with a firm tannin structure lending some grip to the finish. Scorched earth, dried meat, vanillin cedar and blackpepper characters fill out the back half. Opulent yet muscular in its feel with a long rich, meaty aftertaste.
