2015 One Block Yellingbo Shiraz

Impenetrable black core with a deep dark red black hue. Fragrant plum, blackberry and liquorice aromatics are laced with smoky dried clove notes. Also evident are some meaty characters, dried herbs and spicy pepper. Medium to full bodied, the rich pepper infused palate dishes up a savoury flavour profile of spicy dark plums, liquorice, smoky dried clove, meaty characters and dried herb nuances. Very well integrated tannins have a robust feel and provide a great framework. Excellent depth with a long spicy dark plum, liquorice, smoky clove, dried meat, herbs and blackpepper aftertaste. Lots of whole bunch influence here but it holds up to the fruit.
