Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of spicy ripe dark cherries and liquorice merge with some scorched earth and meaty pepper notes. Medium bodied the palate has generous up front fruit flavours of liquorice and blackberries which meld into some peppered dried meat characters, earth and spice. Savoury mouthfeel with fine grained tannins and an aftertaste of peppered meats, liquorice, earth and spicy cedar.
