2015 Nocton Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a bright crimson hue. Lifted violet and anise aromas overlay ripe dark cherries and plum followed by spicy cedar. Light and elegant the palate features flavours of ripe dark cherries and subtle strawberries infused with anise over a back drop of some meaty characters, lightly singed cedar and spice. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, dried meat characters and lightly toasted cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
