Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of dark plums, liquorice and black cherries over lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours which sit over a back drop of vanillin cedar and spice. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Spicy aftertaste of liquorice, freshly crushed blackberries, dark plum, vanillin cedar and pepper.
