2015 Municipal Tempranillo

Fruit was sourced from the Whitegate vineyard – Stretcher Block. Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up black cherry, liquorice and dark chocolate scents over a earthy leather back drop with some spicy, toasted oak elements also evident. Rich black cherry and liquorice fruits have a firm underbelly of tannins which gives the robust palate a slightly rustic feel. Vanillin oak, earth and spice characters tail off onto the medium length aftertaste.
