Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Blackcurrant and mulberry top notes meld their way into some cedary tobacco and bay leaf characters with spice end notes. Medium bodied with an elegant yet structured feel the palate has flavours of ripe red currants, blackcurrants and mulberries which intermingle with dusty cedar, subtle tobacco, bay leaf infusions and spice. Dryish finish with grainy slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of ripe red currants, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters, bay leaf and spice.
