2015 Mount Trio Cabernet Merlot

Excellent depth of colour displaying a black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Nosing reveals a scented profile of blackcurrant and mulberries with a gentle overlay of earthy black olives, cedary tobacco characters and spice. Medium bodied the palate possesses generous blackcurrant and dark mulberry flavours which overlay a back drop of dusty earth, cedary tobacco characters and spice. Slightly dryish finish with finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
