Dense black dark red core with a very dark red black tinged hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice and blackberries intermix with smoky vanillin oak, dark chocolate and spicy fennel. Rich voluptuously textured blackberry and liquorice flavours show superb intensity across a backdrop of vanillin oak, scorched earth and spice. Velvety like tannins have a sturdy underbelly. Slightly dryish finish with a long plush aftertaste.
