2015 Monterra Cabernet Tempranillo

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant, liquorice and black cherries hang over some earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied with good richness, ripe blackcurrant and liquorice flavours are to the fore followed by earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Slightly chewy in its mouthfeel with a dry finish, firmish tannins and bright acidity concluding with a blackcurrant, liquorice, earthy vanillin cedar and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
