2015 Ministry of Clouds Grenache

Sourced from 81 and 23 year old vineyards, the wine was given little oak treatment, the emphasis on purity of fruit. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Pronounced raspberry jube, plum and strawberry jam top notes overlay confectionary and hints of spicy liquorice. Light in weight but with good power the palate has juicy flavours of raspberry jubes, plum juice and strawberry jam over some confectionary with a dry spicy finish. Bright acidity and very finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy raspberry jubes, plum juice, hints of liquorice, confectionary and subtle earth.
