2015 Merricks Estate Pinot Noir

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a light slightly rustic red hue. Perfumed scents of violets, dark cherries, ripe strawberries and anise are trailed by lightly smoked cedar, forest floor and spice. Delicious dark cherry, ripe strawberry and anise flavours supplely caress the palate with notions of forest floor and spicy, lightly toasted cedar lying underneath. Excellent drive with velvety tannins, nicely balanced acidity and a long moreish aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
