82% Shiraz was co-fermented with 3% Viognier then blended with 15% Grenache. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals blackberry and liquorice aromas followed by some dark raspberry, a hint of dried apricot and spice. Rich with a juicy mouthfeel the palate dishes up generous flavours of dark raspberries and liquorice over some vanillin oak and spice. Soft velvety tannins with an aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, liquorice, vanillin cedar and a touch of earth.
