2015 Mahi Twin Valleys Vineyard Chardonnay

Matured in French oak barriques for 15 months. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Pronounced ripe peach and honeycomb aromas tinged with a hint of apricot are followed by notions of crème brulee, subtle toasty oak and spice. Fresher and lighter in weight than its predecessors the medium bodied palate has flavours of ripe peaches, pears and light honeycomb over citrusy lemon butter like characters, toasty oak and spice. Clean dry finish with bright acidity. Aftertaste of peaches, pears, subtle honeycomb, lemon butter and spicy toasted oak.
