2015 M.Chapoutier Tournon Landsborough Vineyard Grenache

Aged in concrete tanks for 12 months this is a big ripe, juicy Grenache. Deep dark red core with black tinged edgings and a quite dark red hue. Pronounced ripe dark raspberry aromas intermix with black cherries and liquorice followed by vanillin confectionary and subtle dried herb notes. Rich with a full, voluptuous mouthfeel the palate is decorated with juicy ripe dark raspberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours over a back drop of vanilla. Spicy finish with plush, velvety tannins. Excellent concentration and power with a long juicy dark raspberry, spicy dark plum, vanilla and subtle peppered earth aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
