2015 M.Chapoutier Les Meysonniers Crozes-Hermitage Blanc

Produced from Marsanne utilizing 20-40 year old vines and matured in stainless steel tanks for 7-8 months in order to preserve the aromatic qualities. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Nosing reveals a mixture of lifted honeycomb, ripe peaches and dried apricot followed by spicy ripe citrus end notes. Texturally full and round the palate features flavours of dried apricot and ripe pear characters laced with dried honey over some subtle nuttiness and a spicy dry finish. Well balanced acidity, perfectly integrated with the wines textural feel. Aftertaste of spicy dried apricots, ripe pears, dried honey, bees wax and a light lingering nuttiness.

Juicy, with a star fruit note out front that pulls the yellow apple and melon flavors along. Ginger and heather details echo through the finish. Delicious. Drink now through 2020.
